"Birds of a Feather!!" My Belted Kingfisher!
Oh My!! It's been way too long since I posted!!
Way before COVID started! Thank Goodness that's gone! Big sigh of relief! I have much to catch up on!!! So here goes!
I currently have Series 1 Caterpillar, Series 2 Bees, Series 3 Hummingbird, Series 4 Annapolis, & Series 5 DragonFly.
Today I introduce Series 6 Birds of a Feather!!! I'm writing to introduce this latest series, and my first card in it! This series is meant to celebrate my newly found joy of birding! And a reminder of oneness. Since the first card I published, I have stated that these cards are created with the energy 'that brings us all together as one.' We are all 'Birds of a Feather.' Much more alike than different! Especially important in todays climate of controversy and differing viewpoints.
SO With the expert help of Watercolorist Liz Clayton Fuller of Cornell Lab of Ornithology, (a proud member henceforth) this guy came into existence 3/11/2023!
And this week he has become my latest card! And the first of this series of many to come!
The belted Kingfisher is often associated with Halcyon Days, Peace & Tranquility. He brings Calm Seas, Success & Prosperity! A year round resident, he is seen throughout Maryland. So the next time you see him, Breathe Deep! Relax! Enjoy the stillness & your Riches!
